Well hi, everyone! It’s good to be back in the blogosphere. I hope you missed me as much as I missed you! (If you’re lost, my last post explains why I disappeared for awhile.)
Now that I’m (hopefully) done with all of that technical bloggy stuff, I want to tell you about this Vitamin C Serum I’ve been using on my face for the past two weeks. It’s produced by a company called Amara Organics and, as you could probably guess, it’s made with organic ingredients. I love this company because they make all of their products with 100% natural, plant-based ingredients right here in the USA. They also don’t test on animals, which is something else I respect in beauty product companies.
This serum is loaded with vitamins C & E, which helps reverse the effects of environmental damage and aging on your skin. Since I don’t exactly have wrinkles yet, I can’t testify the anti-aging effects of this product (sorry ladies!). However, I can tell you that I really did feel a difference in my skin after my very first use. My face appears brighter, so I can see a difference, too, but the biggest change for me was the texture of my skin. I had pretty bad acne in high school (thank you, Lord, for freckles that made the zits blend in!), so my face is a little rough thanks to some ugly acne scars. This serum has made my skin feel a lot smoother and softer, and for that I love this product.
Another thing I love about this serum is that you can add it to any beauty routine without having to change a million things! If you use a toner, just apply this serum afterwards. If you use a moisturizer, apply it before. If you don’t use either, then kuddos to you for keeping it simple! While you can use a cotton ball or pad to apply this, I found that using my hands worked best. Cotton always tends to absorb more products than what I’m actually putting on my face, in my opinion.
This Vitamin C Serum is recommended for daily use (morning or night), so I use it in the morning after washing my face. I use the eyedropper tip to squirt some of this serum in my hand, then I spread it around my face and neck. That’s pretty much it! I follow with some moisturizer and then usually wash my hands because the serum is a tad sticky (not gross sticky, but just enough to bug me).
All in all, I really do love this product and I recommend it to everyone, especially if you have damaged skin from sun rays (guilty!), cigarette smoke, or even signs of aging.
You can read more about this Vitamin C Serum and order it here, at the Amara Organics website.
If you do try this product and find that it really does reverse your signs of aging, please let me know! I’d love to hear about your experience with this Serum.
Amara Organics provided me with the product to test and review. All opinions are always 100% mine.
