This is one of the least-glamorous parts of your wedding planning, but it needs to be done (especially if you’re about to or have just become a mil spouse). Remember, you’re not just marrying the love of your life—you’re marrying the military, too.
Let’s face it, this list can seem overwhelming and never-ending at some point in your newlywed endeavors. But never fear! It’ll all be over before you know it and once you’re done, you’re done!
I’ve compiled this list based on pretty much all of the things I had to take care of after getting married, so it includes more than just the military aspects you’ll have to deal with. Because this is based on my personal experience, it’s very likely that not everything will apply to you or that I’ve even missed things that you know you need to take care of. Feel free to make your own list or add to the one I’ve created!
This checklist can be found in THE ARCHIVE along with more great resources for military families. If you’re not an archive member, simply add your email to the list and check your inbox for instructions!
